The C960 4K is EMEET's 4K webcam: a Sony sensor, phase detect autofocus, two omnidirectional mics and a sliding privacy cover, on a clip that sits on top of a monitor. It is one of Amazon's best selling webcams and carries the Amazon's Choice badge in that category.
Two things separate it from the usual 1080p clip-on. The focus system is the kind that snaps rather than hunts, and there is a 1/4 in thread on the bottom, which means the camera is not stuck on the monitor.
The Numbers That Matter
4K at 30fps. Detail, not motion. Faces, whiteboards and gear on a bench read cleanly. Fast movement does not get any smoother than it would at 1080p30, and 1080p60 is not offered.
PDAF autofocus, 20 to 300 cm. Phase detect is the same approach phones use. It locks instead of drifting in and out when the chair rolls back from the desk or a kid walks into frame.
73 degrees. Narrower than most webcams. A tighter frame means less of the room, which is usually the right answer in a house.
1/4 in thread. The spec that changes what the camera can do. Off the monitor, onto a tripod, pointed at a rack in the garage.

There is no subscription and no account. It is a standard UVC device, though EMEET's own listing says switching to 4K happens through camera software or an app like OBS, so the highest resolution does need one trip through settings.
Who It Is For
The dad who films as much as he calls: a set in the garage, a project on the bench, then a meeting at nine. If calls are the whole job, the Anker PowerConf C200 is simpler and its field of view adjusts in software. If there is already a real camera in the house, skip the webcam and use the Elgato Cam Link 4K. A dynamic mic and a ring light will do more for the finished video than the jump from 1080p to 4K does.
