The Cloud Gaming Angle
Xbox Game Pass streaming on a $50 stick is genuinely interesting for a household that is not buying a console. Add a controller and the TV in the spare room plays current games. The caveat is that cloud gaming lives or dies on your internet; on a weak connection it is unplayable.
Where It Sits In The Line
The Cube is faster and listens hands-free. This does the same streaming for a fraction of the cost. For a bedroom, a garage gym TV, or a second set nobody watches critically, this is the right amount of device.
