The Mini Praxis C18026C-1 is the small-format folder in CIVIVI's catalog: a 2.98 inch D2 drop point on a green G10 handle with black stainless liners and a liner lock. CIVIVI is the budget line of the same house that builds WE Knife, and at $35 the Mini Praxis is the cheapest real folder in the family. That price is the whole argument for it.
The Numbers That Matter
D2 at 58-60HRC. D2 is a tool steel, not a true stainless. Run at that hardness it keeps a working edge noticeably longer than the soft stainless most $35 knives use. You pay for that in two ways: it will develop spots if you carry it sweaty or put it away wet, and it takes more patience on a stone than a softer steel does. Wipe it down, oil the pivot occasionally, and it behaves.
Flat grind. The bevel thins evenly from spine to edge instead of scooping out like a hollow grind. For cutting line, tape, zip ties and packaging, a flat grind pushes through and keeps going rather than binding once the cut gets deep. That is most of what a pocket knife gets asked to do.
Tip-up, right hand only. This is the one spec that disqualifies buyers. The clip mounts on one side, tip-up, and there is no second set of screw holes to move it. If you carry left, this knife is not for you. Nothing else on the page changes that.
2.77 ounces, 3.81 inches closed. Light and short enough that it rides in a front pocket with keys and a phone without announcing itself.

Who It Is For
Buy it if you want a first pocket knife and do not want to risk real money on one, or if you are the guy who leaves knives in rental cars and hotel nightstands. At $35 the loss stings for about an hour. It is also the right knife to hand a teenager or a new coworker who needs something for boxes.
Skip it if you carry left handed, if you want a stainless steel you can neglect, or if you need more than three inches of blade for the work you actually do.

The Short Version
