The Elementum is the flipper pattern the budget line made famous, and this is that same knife built at the top of the range: drop point blade, frame lock, flipper tab, executed in 6AL4V Titanium with a CPM MagnaCut blade in place of G10 and D2. At $217.60 it gets judged against the $59 CIVIVI Elementum C907A, and the honest framing is that you are buying materials, not more knife.
The Numbers That Matter
CPM MagnaCut at 60-62HRC. This is the spec doing most of the work on the price tag. MagnaCut is a stainless steel where D2 is not, so a blade riding in a pocket with keys and sweat does not need the dry-it-off habit D2 rewards. The hardness stretches the time between sharpenings, and the trade is that when it does go dull you want a diamond or ceramic rod, not the pull-through in the kitchen drawer.
2.39 oz, with a titanium handle. Titanium sounds heavy and is not. This lands half an ounce under the G10 version of the same knife, because titanium runs thinner and still locks up. Closed it is 4.02 inches with 0.53 inches of total height including the clip, the number that decides whether a knife lies flat or prints through khakis.
2.96 inches of blade. Under three inches keeps it carryable in more places and keeps it from reading as a weapon at a school pickup. It is also the honest limit on the tool: a flat grind on 0.11 inch stock slices well, but it is not a pry bar.

Roughly 3.7 times the money for the same shape in better materials. That is the whole decision.
Who It Is For
Buy this if you already carry an Elementum, know the pattern fits your hand, and want the lighter, stainless, ambidextrous-clip version of it.
Skip it if this would be your first one. Spend $59, carry the CIVIVI for a season, and find out whether you love the shape before paying three and a half times more for it. Skip it too if you need a bigger blade, or if you are shopping on cutting done per dollar.

The Short Version

I would point a first-time Elementum buyer at the CIVIVI and save this one for the guy who already knows he likes the shape and wants it in better materials.
