What This Is

The single piece of gear that changes a yard the most per dollar, because fog is what makes every light in the yard visible as a beam instead of a point.

Fog Low, Not High

Warm fog rises and vanishes. The effect everybody wants is fog that sits at ankle height and rolls, and the way you get it is to cool the output. Sit the machine on the ground, aim it into a shrub or down a slope, and point it away from any wind. People build fog chillers out of a cooler and ice for exactly this reason, and it works.

Plan Around The Duty Cycle

About 35 seconds of fog, then roughly four minutes to recover. That is the real constraint, and it means you fire it when a group arrives rather than running it continuously. The wireless remote exists for that.

Buy The Fluid With It

It uses water-based fog juice and it goes through it. Ordering the machine without fluid is the most common mistake on this shelf.

The Short Version

The highest-impact piece of gear here, because fog is what makes your lights visible. Keep it on the ground, and order fluid with it.
