Product Information, Not A Review

Specs, pricing and buying notes taken from the manufacturer so you can compare this against whatever else you are looking at. I have not had this one in my hands. When it goes through real use it gets rewritten as a full review, with a rating and my own photos.

What Stands Out

  • 12 green LED eyeballs per stake across two stakes, enough to fill a shrub
  • Swaying motion on the stems, so they move with the wind rather than sitting still
  • Solar powered with no wiring, so they go anywhere there is sun
  • Green is the right color: it reads as eyes in a bush rather than as decoration
  • Cheap enough to buy several sets and work multiple beds

What To Check

  • The manufacturer says to bring them inside in storms, which is a real maintenance ask
  • Solar runtime in late October is short
  • Thin stems bend and stay bent
  • Effect only works buried in foliage; on bare ground they just look like stakes

What This Is

The detail decoration. Not the thing people see from the street, the thing they notice when they are already standing at your door.

Bury Them In The Bushes

These only work hidden. Pushed deep into a shrub so the stakes disappear and only the green points show, they read as eyes watching from the dark. Standing in open mulch they read as garden lights someone painted. Depth in the foliage is the entire effect.

Read The Weather Note

The maker says to bring them inside in storms to protect the solar panels. On a shelf where most things are rated to stay out, that is worth knowing: these are the ones you will be retrieving before a front comes through, or replacing after.

The Short Version

A close-range detail, not a street-level one. Bury them deep in a shrub so only the eyes show, and bring them in before a storm.
