What Stands Out

  • Three full panels of one-way see-through mesh give a 270 degree view, so a kid can watch the woods instead of asking what is happening
  • Five configurations on one product page: 1-2 person at 55 x 55 in, 2-3 person PRO at 58 x 58 in, and 3-4 person at 70 x 70 in
  • Hub design pops up and packs down in about three minutes per TIDEWE, which matters when you are setting up with a kid in tow
  • 300D fabric is listed at 175 GSM and 149.25 lbf tear strength, roughly 30 percent stronger than the 150D at 131 GSM and 115 lbf
  • Hook-and-loop door closure for silent entry and exit, plus brush-in loops and reinforced top corners

What To Check

  • The 3-4 person in 300D weighs 22 lb, which is a haul on a long walk in; the 1-2 person is 12 lb
  • Standing room is only realistic in the 3-4 person, which TIDEWE lists at 80 in tall
  • Window heights are fixed at 33.4 in on the 2-3 person and 42.5 in on the 3-4, so the chair has to match the blind
  • See-through mesh is one-way in daylight. It does not make you invisible with a light on inside at dusk

What This Blind Is

A pop-up hub blind with one-way see-through mesh on three sides. You look out through camo mesh at a 270 degree field of view; from outside, the panels read as part of the camo shell in daylight. TIDEWE sells the same blind in three capacities, and the size you pick changes the floor, the height and the window height, so read the table before you buy.

The Size Question, Answered by the Spec Table

SizeFloorHeightWindow heightWeight
1-2 person, 150D55 x 55 in65 in31.1 in12 lb
2-3 person PRO, 150D58 x 58 in66 in33.4 in13 lb
2-3 person PRO, 300D58 x 58 in66 in33.4 in17 lb
3-4 person, 150D70 x 70 in80 in42.5 in19 lb
3-4 person, 300D70 x 70 in80 in42.5 in22 lb

A dad and one kid fit in the 2-3 person. A dad, two kids and a backpack want the 3-4 person, and it is the only one with real standing room at 80 inches. The tradeoff is weight: the 3-4 in 300D is 22 pounds on your back.

150D or 300D

TIDEWE publishes both fabrics side by side: 150D is 131 grams per square meter with 115 lbf tear strength, 300D is 175 GSM with 149.25 lbf, about 30 percent stronger. The 300D adds four pounds on the 2-3 person and three on the 3-4. If the blind lives in one spot all season and takes weather, take the 300D. If you carry it in and out every sit, take the 150D.

Why See-Through Mesh Matters With Kids

The honest reason to spend up for this feature has nothing to do with deer. A kid in a standard blind sees a wall of fabric and one small window. A kid in a see-through blind sees the whole woods, which buys another hour of quiet before anyone asks to go home. That is the difference between a hunt you finish and a hunt you abandon.

What Is Not On The Page

TIDEWE does not publish a frame material spec, a hydrostatic head rating for the shell, or a warranty term on this listing. Treat it as a fair to moderate weather blind until those numbers exist.

The Short Version

The spec that decides this purchase is window height, not the brand. Match it to the chair you will actually sit in, then pick the size by how many kids are coming.
