LHI 45L Military Tactical Backpack

What Stands Out
What To Check
What is a 45L tactical pack actually for?
Three days of gear. That is the size convention: 45 litres carries clothes, a sleep system or a jacket, food and water for about 72 hours. It is also the size that works as a bug-out bag, a hunting pack, a range bag or a gym-and-work bag that never gets unpacked.
Does 900D nylon mean anything?
Yes. The D is denier, a measure of thread thickness, and 900D is heavy pack cloth: noticeably tougher than the 600D used on most school and commuter backpacks, and lighter than the 1000D used on military-issue gear. For a pack that gets thrown in a truck bed and dragged across gravel, 900D is the right spot on that curve.
The spec to check before you load it
There is no real hip belt. On a pack this size that is the limitation that matters, because a loaded 45L rides entirely on your shoulders and traps. Fine for a day, uncomfortable for a long hump. If you intend to carry serious weight for distance, a pack with a load-bearing hip belt is a different product and worth the money.
Who should skip it
Anyone who wants a bag that does not announce itself. This looks like what it is. For the same capacity in something that passes as a normal backpack, look at a travel pack instead.
The Short Version
Real three-day capacity in tough 900D nylon. No proper hip belt, so the weight all rides on your shoulders.
