The Label Read

Kre-Alkalyn is creatine that has been pH-buffered with sodium bicarbonate. Swolverine's pitch, per the label, is that the buffering resists breakdown in liquid and skips the loading phase. The dose is 3 grams per one-scoop serving, unflavored, 30 servings per tub. No proprietary blends, and the label is exactly as short as a creatine label should be.

Here is my honest read as a coach. The mountain of creatine research, and it is a mountain, was built on plain monohydrate at 5 grams a day. Buffered creatine has some studies behind it, but nothing close to that evidence base. The 3 gram dose is the brand's position, not a number I can point to hundreds of papers for. I am not calling that a dealbreaker. I am calling it what it is.

The paper trail is where Swolverine earns real credit. Products are third-party tested by Lief and Micro Quality Labs, both ISO/IEC 17025 accredited, in a GMP-compliant facility, and they publish lot-matched certificates of analysis you can check against the number on your tub.
