My members ask about supplements every single week. I own Black Iron Athletics, a veteran-owned strength gym in Frisco, Texas, and I have coached for fifteen years, including national-level weightlifters. The front desk question never changes: what should I actually take, and can I trust what is in the tub? So I am doing something about it. Swolverine is coming onto the front desk, starting with PRE, INTRA, and Kre-Alkalyn, with the Whey Protein Isolate rounding out the four.
Now the part most sites will not tell you: I have not used any of this yet. Product is on its way into the rotation at the gym right now. We only recommend what we actually use, so the hands-on reviews with my own photos come after each tub has been through a real training block. No flavor takes today, no mixability takes, no training stories. What you are getting instead is the other thing I do for a living: a coach's read of the labels, the doses, and the certificates of analysis, plus who each product is for. If that read had come back bad, this brand would not be headed to my desk.
One lane clarification, because it is the honesty edge this site runs on. My drug-tested athletes and my health-basics lane stay on Thorne, which is NSF Certified for Sport. That does not change; start with the Dad Stack if you are new to all of this. Swolverine is not NSF Certified for Sport. What it has: third-party testing by Lief and Micro Quality Labs, both ISO/IEC 17025 accredited, manufacturing in a GMP-compliant facility, and lot-matched certificates of analysis published on their site. You match the lot number on the bottom of your tub to the certificate on that page. Almost nobody in this industry publishes that. It is serious verification; it is just not the tested-athlete certification. This is the flavored performance and gym-bag lane that sits next to the Thorne stack, not on top of it.
PRE (Stim-Free)
$49.99, 25 servings, one flavor for now: Mango Lemonade. This is Swolverine's stimulant-free pre-workout, and that is a deliberate pick, not a compromise. The label publishes real doses on the big three: 5g citrulline malate, 3.2g beta-alanine, and 2.5g betaine anhydrous, no proprietary blends. Beta-alanine at 3.2g is the researched amount, which also means the face tingles are real. Normal, not dangerous. The label also lists L-carnitine, Siberian ginseng, pomegranate, and coconut water powder without per-serving amounts, so I do not count them. I coach off published numbers only.
Who it is for: the 8pm garage lifter who still wants to sleep, the 5am guy who already had his coffee, and anyone cutting stimulants without giving up the pre-workout ritual. Directions per the label: one scoop in 8 to 12 oz of water, 15 to 20 minutes out. If you want caffeine in the scoop, that is a different lane: Transparent Labs BULK runs a moderate 200mg of organic caffeine paired with 200mg of theanine to smooth the edge, and the brand states every product undergoes Informed Choice testing. Know which lifter you are before you buy either.
INTRA
$39.99, 30 servings, Tropical Blast or Cherry Frost. Per the product listing: 4,300mg of all nine essential amino acids, including 3,000mg of BCAAs at 2:1:1, a 650mg electrolyte matrix, 800mg Panax ginseng, plus coconut water powder, pomegranate, tart cherry, pink Himalayan salt, and spirulina, all at stated amounts. No blends, fully vegan.
Straight coaching: if you eat enough protein and your session is 45 minutes in air conditioning, you do not need an intra drink. Water is fine, and I will tell you that at the desk too. Where this earns its scoop is the long stuff: sessions past the 90-minute mark, two-a-days, fasted morning training, and Texas garage summers where the electrolytes alone justify it.
Whey Protein Isolate
$62.99, 25 servings, in Chocolate, Vanilla, Churro, or Strawberry. The simplest label of the four: 25g of grass-fed whey protein isolate per serving, 110 calories, 1g carbs, 0.5g fat, zero sugar. Microfiltered isolate with trace lactose under 1%, which matters if regular whey concentrate argues with your gut. It includes ProHydrolase digestive enzymes, but the page does not publish the amount, so I will not pretend to evaluate it. And no, I have not tasted any of the four flavors. That verdict comes with the hands-on review.
Who it is for: the guy who never hits his protein number, which in my coaching experience is most guys over 30. A shake is not magic. It is the macro nobody hits, made easy, and 110 calories a scoop fits a cut as easily as a bulk.
Kre-Alkalyn
$42.99, 30 servings, unflavored. This is 3g of pH-buffered creatine per scoop, buffered with sodium bicarbonate, and I owe you straight talk here. Creatine monohydrate is the most researched supplement in existence, it remains my default answer, and my full case lives in the Thorne Creatine review. Kre-Alkalyn is a buffered form with a smaller evidence base, not a monohydrate killer. The no-loading-phase and stability-in-liquid claims are the brand's claims, and testing them against a monohydrate baseline is exactly what I plan to do once product is in hand. If you already take monohydrate and it sits fine, stay put. If plain monohydrate bothers your stomach, or you want your whole gym bag on one brand with one lot-matched COA page, this is the version worth a run.

Subscribe and Save takes 15% off any of them, and free shipping kicks in over $75. Better yet for my people: Swolverine partners with GovX, and verified military, law enforcement, first responders, and government employees get up to 25% off the whole line. If Transparent Labs is more your lane, they run 15% off for military, veterans, spouses, dependents, and first responders through GovX ID. Use what you have earned.
Where This Fits Next to the Thorne Stack
Simple split. Thorne is the foundation lane: the Dad Stack basics, plus anything a drug-tested athlete puts in their body, because NSF Certified for Sport is the standard that survives a federation test. Swolverine is the performance layer on top: the stim-free pre for the training itself, the intra bottle for the long days, the flavored isolate for the shaker in the gym bag. Third-party tested with published, lot-matched COAs, which puts these labels ahead of 90% of what is on store shelves. Two lanes, one rule: if the label will not show me the numbers, it does not get recommended. These labels show the numbers.
Full transparency: Every Dad Carry is an approved affiliate of Swolverine and Transparent Labs, and product links on this page pay the site a commission at no extra cost to you. As of publish, nothing on this page was received free. Product images are Swolverine's own renders. Swolverine product is being bought into the gym rotation, a Transparent Labs sample is being arranged, and any brand-provided product will be disclosed on its own page when the hands-on reviews come.
