Product Information, Not A Review

Specs, pricing and buying notes taken from the manufacturer so you can compare this against whatever else you are looking at. I have not had this one in my hands. When it goes through real use it gets rewritten as a full review, with a rating and my own photos.

What Stands Out

  • Double-wall vacuum insulation holds cold or hot for hours rather than the single hour a plastic tumbler manages
  • FlowState lid rotates between a splash-resistant straw opening, a drink opening and a full cover
  • Narrow base fits a car cup holder, which is the reason a 30 oz tumbler is usable at all
  • 90% recycled BPA-free stainless steel
  • Dishwasher safe, unlike plenty of insulated tumblers
  • Lifetime warranty when bought from a Stanley reseller

What To Check

  • Heavy when full, and 30 oz of ice water is a real weight
  • The straw and lid need disassembling to clean properly or they get grim
  • It is a status object as much as a cup, with pricing to match
  • Not fully leakproof: the straw opening resists splashes, it does not survive a tipped bag

What This Is

The tumbler that became a cultural object. Underneath the hype it is a genuinely good vacuum flask with a well-designed lid.

The Honest Case For It

Thirty ounces that stays cold all day, in a base that fits a cup holder, with a lid you can drink from three ways and a warranty that outlives the car. People drink more water when the water is cold and within reach, and that is not a small thing.

The Honest Case Against

You are paying a substantial premium over an RTIC or a generic double-wall tumbler that performs nearly identically. If the brand means nothing to you, the money is better spent elsewhere on this site.

Take The Lid Apart

The straw and the rotating lid both have places water sits. Pull them apart weekly. This is the part of tumbler ownership nobody mentions and the reason some people's smell.

The Short Version

A genuinely good flask carrying a brand premium. If the name means nothing to you, a generic double-wall tumbler does nearly the same job.
