Product Information, Not A Review

Specs, pricing and buying notes taken from the manufacturer so you can compare this against whatever else you are looking at. I have not had this one in my hands. When it goes through real use it gets rewritten as a full review, with a rating and my own photos.

What Stands Out

  • Under 30 ms on the 2.4 GHz dongle, which is low enough that you will not hear it in play
  • Both USB-A and USB-C dongle options, so it works with a Switch, a phone and a PC without adapters
  • Three connection modes: 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth and 3.5 mm wired, so it keeps working when a battery dies
  • 50 mm drivers with around 40 hours of battery
  • On-cup controls for volume, mute, call answering and track skipping
  • A fraction of the price of the brand-name wireless headsets

What To Check

  • Bluetooth mode only works with phones, laptops and Switch, not with a PS5 or Xbox directly
  • Budget build materials, and the headband is the first thing to go
  • Microphone quality is acceptable rather than good
  • No meaningful software or EQ support

What This Is

The budget wireless headset that does not cut the thing that matters, which is latency.

Why Latency Is The Spec To Protect

Cheap wireless headsets save money by using Bluetooth alone, and Bluetooth audio lag means you hear a footstep after you have already been shot. A proper 2.4 GHz dongle under 30 ms is what makes a headset usable for games at all, and having it at this price is the whole argument.

Having A Wired Fallback Is Underrated

Battery dies mid-session, you plug in the 3.5 mm cable and keep playing. Many wireless headsets simply stop. For a kid's setup, where charging discipline is theoretical, that matters.

Where The Money Was Saved

Build quality and microphone. It feels like a budget headset and you will eventually break the headband. At this price, replacing it twice still costs less than one premium set.

The Short Version

Proper low-latency 2.4 GHz at a budget price, with a wired fallback for when the battery dies. Build quality is where the money was saved.
