What This Is
The Titan is LIT's hybrid cabin: infrared panels and a traditional Harvia electric heater in the same room. Infrared heats you directly at a lower air temperature, which most people find easier to sit in for 30 to 45 minutes. Traditional heat warms the air, gets you to a hard sweat faster, and lets you throw water on rocks for steam. Buying both in one cabin is the whole pitch.
Why We Chose It For The Gym
Our recovery room needed one sauna that works for two different people: the member who wants 40 easy minutes with a book, and the member who wants 15 minutes at real heat after squats. A single-mode sauna picks a side. This one does not.
The panoramic glass mattered more than I expected. A sauna people can see out of gets used; a windowless box gets avoided.
Disclosure: We Bought This
Black Iron Athletics is a paying LIT Method customer. This unit is part of the recovery room we are building at the gym, bought with gym money at standard pricing. Nothing here was given to us. This page is a spec overview written from LIT's published information; the owner review publishes once the room is finished and the unit has real hours on it.
Before You Buy One
Three things to sort before you order, in this order: where the pad goes, what your electrical panel can carry, and who is wiring it. A 6 to 8KW heater is not a plug-in appliance. We ran ours through the same contractor handling the room build, and the cut sheets went into the construction drawings before anything shipped.
The Short Version
The hybrid heat is what justifies the price: infrared for long sessions, traditional heat for short hard ones, in one cabin. Solve the electrical before you fall in love with it.
