What Stands Out

  • Genuine 5.1 channel Dolby Atmos with two side-firing drivers that widen the sound without rear speakers
  • 300W peak across six drivers, with a 45 Hz to 18 kHz response and 99 dB maximum
  • HDMI eARC at up to 37 Mbps, which is what carries full-fat Atmos rather than the compressed version standard ARC allows
  • VoiceMX processing lifts dialogue out of the mix, which is the single most common complaint about TV audio
  • Wired wooden subwoofer with an 18 mm high-excursion driver and a 5.3 L cabinet
  • Under 0.5 ms latency, so lip sync stays right

What To Check

  • The subwoofer is wired, not wireless, so its placement is dictated by cable length
  • Side-firing surround is a simulation; it is not the same as speakers behind you
  • eARC needs a TV with an eARC port, and plenty of older sets only have plain ARC
  • A 5.1 bar in a small room can be more system than the room can use

What This Is

A soundbar that takes Atmos seriously without asking you to run speaker wire around a living room.

The Dialogue Problem Is The Real Problem

Most people who buy a soundbar are not chasing cinematic bass. They are tired of turning the TV up to hear the conversation and then being blown out of the room by the next action scene. Dedicated dialogue processing is the feature that fixes that, and it matters more day to day than the Atmos badge.

Check Your TV For eARC First

Standard ARC cannot carry lossless Atmos; eARC can. If your TV only has plain ARC, this bar still works and you get a compressed version of the format. Look at the port labelling before paying for the capability.

The Short Version

Buy it for the dialogue processing as much as the Atmos. Check your TV has eARC, not just ARC, before paying for lossless.
