Product Information, Not A Review

Specs, pricing and buying notes taken from the manufacturer so you can compare this against whatever else you are looking at. I have not had this one in my hands. When it goes through real use it gets rewritten as a full review, with a rating and my own photos.

What Stands Out

  • Refill by dunking: about a second each, versus the nozzle-and-knot routine with latex
  • No scraps. Latex balloon fragments across a lawn are the real cost of a water fight
  • Rated for 1,000-plus uses, so one pack covers years rather than one afternoon
  • Magnets are fully concealed with no exposed parts
  • SGS tensile tested and a Toy Insider Top Summer Toy pick
  • Soft silicone, so they sting far less than an overfilled latex balloon

What To Check

  • Twelve is a small volley; a real water fight wants two or three packs
  • They have to be collected afterwards, which latex balloons never required
  • Magnets and small children under three do not mix, so read the age guidance
  • Less satisfying burst than a latex balloon, which some kids genuinely mind

What This Is

Water balloons that solve the two things wrong with water balloons: filling them and picking up what is left.

The Math Against Latex

A bag of 500 latex balloons is cheaper and lasts one afternoon, and then you spend the next three weeks finding red scraps in the grass and running them over with the mower. Twelve silicone ones refill in a second and go back in a bucket.

Buy two or three packs if more than two kids are involved. Twelve goes fast.

One Real Caution

They close with magnets. Swallowed magnets are a genuine medical emergency, not a scrape, which is why these are rated for ages three and up. In a house with a toddler, these belong in the garage between uses rather than the toy bin.

The Short Version

No filling, no scraps in the lawn. Buy two or three packs, and keep them away from toddlers because of the magnets.
