Quick Specs

ReviewedOct 4, 2026
Pole2.7-10.5 ft adjustable aluminum, 0.8 mm
Rake17.5 in, 550 micron / 28 mesh
Brush17.5 in curved, 45 degree angle
Connection1.25 in standard

What Stands Out

  • Angled front lip on the rake, which is what actually scoops debris instead of pushing it
  • 550 micron mesh filters leaves and small debris without clogging on every pass
  • Brush head angled at 45 degrees, so you push rather than scrape and your back notices
  • Curved brush edges reach into corners and along the waterline
  • Standard 1.25 inch pole connection, compatible with most other pool attachments
  • 0.8 mm commercial-thickness aluminum pole with reinforced overlaps

What To Check

  • Three pieces, so it covers less than a five-piece kit for not much less money
  • 550 micron mesh is coarser than a fine rake and will not catch silt
  • 10.5 ft is short for a large or wide pool
  • Nylon bristles wear faster than the plastic-blend brushes on pricier kits

What This Is

The simpler, cheaper kit. One net, one brush, one pole, and a standard connection so you can add a vacuum head later.

Check Your Pool Width First

Ten and a half feet reaches the middle of a sixteen foot pool from the edge and does not reach the middle of a twenty-four foot one. Measure the widest span you will need to cross before choosing a pole length; this is the single most common regret in this category and it is entirely avoidable.

Mesh Size Is A Real Tradeoff

Coarse mesh moves fast and lets fine material through. Fine mesh catches more and loads up, so you empty it constantly and it drags in the water. 550 microns is the coarse end, which is right for leaves and bugs and wrong if your problem is pollen or sand.

The Short Version

The budget kit, and fine for leaves. Measure your pool's widest span before you commit to a 10.5 ft pole.
