Product Information, Not A Review

Specs, pricing and buying notes taken from the manufacturer so you can compare this against whatever else you are looking at. I have not had this one in my hands. When it goes through real use it gets rewritten as a full review, with a rating and my own photos.

What Stands Out

  • Treats muscle mass, strength and VO2 max as the primary longevity levers, which matches what I see in the gym
  • The chapter on training for the last decade of your life is the one that changes behaviour
  • Properly sourced rather than vibes
  • Takes mental health seriously in a book that did not have to

What To Check

  • Long and dense; this is not a casual listen
  • Attia's own protocol assumes money and time most people do not have
  • Print is better for a book you will want to reference

What it is

The most rigorous longevity book available, and the one that puts VO2 max and strength at the centre.

Audiobook or print

Both links are below, and for some books on this shelf that choice genuinely matters. Narrative and memoir usually win on audio. Anything you will want to flip back through — frameworks, diagrams, protocols — is better in print, and I say so on the pages where that applies rather than pretending every book works both ways.

Who should skip it

The cons above are the honest version. If two or more of them describe you, this is not your book, and there are forty-four others on this shelf.

The Short Version

Buy it in print. You will want to go back to it, and you will not scrub an audiobook for that.
