What Stands Out

  • Both USB-A and USB-C in one body, which is what makes it work with a modern laptop and an older desktop
  • 360 degree swivel means no cap to lose and no exposed connector
  • Up to 100MB/s transfer
  • Metal enclosure, 26g, rated from 32F to 122F
  • 256-bit AES encryption software and a 3-year limited warranty

What To Check

  • 100MB/s is slower than the fastest drives in this size class
  • Swivel mechanisms are a wear point over years of use
  • 128GB is modest if you are moving video
  • Encryption is software, not hardware

What This Is

A flash drive with a connector on each end, which solves the problem every other drive in this shelf has: your laptop and your desktop do not share a port.

Why Dual Connectors Matter Now

USB-A is disappearing from laptops and still standard on desktops, cars, printers and TVs. A single-connector drive means carrying an adapter, and the adapter is what goes missing. This is the drive that works everywhere without one.

Speed In Context

100MB/s is respectable rather than fast. For documents, photos and moving a presentation between machines it is irrelevant. For dumping 4K footage it is the wrong tool, and an external SSD is the right one.

The Short Version

The one that works with every port you own. Not the fastest, and the dual connector is worth more than the speed difference for most people.
