Fiddle With The Griddle Bundle: Reversible Cast Iron Griddle, Spatula, Burger Press and More

Quick Specs
What I Like
What I Don't
Recon report, not a review. I have not cooked on this griddle and I do not own one. What follows is a straight read of the numbers Grill Masters Club publishes, plus the parts the page does not spell out. The full review comes after I have one in hand.
The Spec Read
The centerpiece is a 10 in x 18 in reversible cast iron griddle made by Outset, listed at 18 in x 10 in x 0.75 in, pre-seasoned, with integrated cast iron handles. One side is smooth, the other is ribbed. Grill Masters Club says it turns any grill, stovetop or oven into a flat top station, and calls it naturally non-stick right out of the box.
Read that second one as a pre-seasoning claim, not a coating. The page lists the griddle hand wash only, explicitly not dishwasher safe, and cast iron needs re-seasoning to hold a release surface.
Around the griddle: a 4-in-1 spatula listed at 17.86 in x 3.51 in, stainless with a polypropylene handle; a 12.5 oz stainless burger press, 5.5 in across and 3 in high, listed as nonstick and dishwasher safe; a 13.5 oz (400 ml) food grade spray bottle with an adjustable nozzle; a 16 oz Sweet Heat Grill and Wing Squeeze from Terrapin Ridge Farms; a 4 oz Fiesta That Mexican Seasoning from The Flat Top King; and a Grill Masters Club hat. The whole box ships at 11.0 lb with free U.S. shipping.
The Honest Math
The bundle lists at $164.97 against a $189.99 compare-at. That compare-at is the sum of the component list prices, not a price this bundle used to carry. The same store sells the Outset griddle by itself at $73.99, which means roughly $91 buys a spatula, a press, a spray bottle, a sauce, a seasoning and a hat. That can still be a fair trade. Just price the griddle alone first, so you are choosing the bundle instead of defaulting into it.
Two things the page stays quiet about. No warranty is stated on any of the hardware, and since Outset builds the griddle, a defect claim goes to Outset, not to the store that sold it to you. Returns on one-time products are case by case at company discretion, carry a 10 percent restocking fee, and require you to prepay return shipping. Mailing 11 lb of cast iron back on your own dime eats most of a refund.
No review count or star rating appeared on the page I read either, so there is no customer feedback signal here at all.
Two smaller gaps. The press is sold as nonstick and dishwasher safe with no coating type or maximum temperature stated, which is a short-life combination on a searing tool. And the food items carry full ingredient lists but no best-by date or allergen statement: the sauce contains mustard and the seasoning contains soybean oil, which matters in some houses.
Who It Is For
The dad who already owns a gas grill or a kettle and wants a flat top surface without buying a separate griddle station. On paper that holds. Measure your grate first: 18 in x 10 in is a serious footprint, and the page makes no compatibility claim about any grill, kamado or kettle. The griddle's own weight is never listed, only the 11.0 lb shipped total, so plan on moving something heavy on and off heat.
Skip it if you want a low-maintenance surface. Hand wash only and regular re-seasoning is the deal you are signing for. For lighter gift options, see the best EDC for dads guide.
Every Dad Carry earns a commission on purchases made through Grill Masters Club links, at no extra cost to you. This overview was published ahead of hands-on testing: I have not used this bundle, and nothing above is a verdict.
After Action Report
If you already own a grill and want a flat top surface on it, the spec sheet here is complete enough to shop from: dimensions, materials and ingredient lists are all published. The compare-at price is an add-up rather than a discount, nothing in the box carries a stated warranty, and returns cost you a restocking fee plus shipping on 11 lb of cast iron. Verdict waits until I have cooked on it.
