What Is Actually in My Backyard
The Yukon is the big one, 27 inches across, the size you buy when the fire is supposed to be the gathering point and not a garnish. Mine is the 2.0 with the removable ash pan, sitting on the stand. And I went in on the support pieces too: the Shield spark screen for the nights the wind has opinions, the Shelter cover for everything Texas weather throws at it, and the lid that closes it down and turns it into a surface between burns.
That list matters, because it tells you this was not a toe in the water. This was the full setup, bought the way I buy everything: once, the right size, with the pieces that make it livable long term.
Why a Fire Pit Belongs on a Dad Gear Site
Nobody has to sell a dad on fire. The sell is everything around it: the smoke that follows your kids around the circle, the cheap pit that rusts through in two seasons, the cleanup that makes you stop wanting to light it. The smokeless design is the whole pitch here, air pulled down the double wall and reburned at the rim, and whether that lives up to the marketing on a random Tuesday with mesquite from the grocery store is exactly the kind of question the full review answers.

The real test list, same standard as everything else on this site: how the smokeless claim holds up with the wood a normal guy actually burns. What cleanup honestly looks like with the ash pan.
