What Stands Out
What To Check
What This Is
Ridge applying the approach that made their wallet work: take an object nobody thinks about, make it smaller and better looking, and charge more for it.
Where It Earns The Price
Three things most packs skip. The kickstand means the phone is usable while charging instead of lying face down. The LED indicator gives a real number rather than four ambiguous dots. And the finishes mean it can sit on a desk without looking like a gas station purchase.
Where It Does Not
20W is the honest limitation. The INIU in this same shelf pushes 45W for a third of the price. If charge speed is what you care about, that is the better buy and this is the nicer object.
I already own and have reviewed the Ridge Wallet, so the brand is not new ground here. Same philosophy, applied to a battery.
The Short Version
The design pick. Kickstand, real charge indicator and finishes that belong on a desk; you pay for that and give up charging speed.
