What Stands Out

  • Net layout covers a bush in one throw instead of a string wrapped by hand
  • 9.8 by 6.6 feet per unit, with up to 3 units connectable for a hedge run
  • 360 LEDs with 8 modes including waves, chasing, slow fade, twinkle and steady
  • Built-in timer, so it runs on a schedule rather than on memory
  • UL certified and waterproof, low voltage and cool to the touch after hours of use

What To Check

  • Only looks right on roughly rectangular shrubs; it bunches awkwardly on irregular ones
  • The net sags over a season and needs re-settling after wind or snow
  • Spacing is fixed, so you cannot concentrate light where a bush is thin
  • Three-unit connect limit caps how far one run goes

What This Is

The time-saver. Hand-wrapping string lights around shrubs is the part of Christmas decorating that makes people quit halfway through, and net lights delete it.

Where Nets Win And Lose

They win on anything boxy: trimmed hedges, square boxwoods, a run of foundation shrubs. Throw, tuck the corners, done in a minute each.

They lose on anything with a shape. A tall irregular juniper or a bush that is wider at the bottom turns a net into a lumpy sheet with dark gaps. For those, a string wrapped by hand still looks better and there is no shortcut.

Set The Timer The Day You Hang Them

The timer is the difference between a display that runs every night in December and one that runs when somebody remembers. Two minutes while you are already outside.

The Short Version

The fastest way to light foundation shrubs, as long as they are roughly boxy. Irregular bushes still need hand-wrapped string.
