What Stands Out

  • Either USB-C port delivers the full 65W on its own, so it does not matter which one the laptop lands in
  • Anker publishes the whole power-distribution table, so you know what the laptop gets with two other things plugged in
  • Three ports from a brick that measures 1.50 x 1.15 x 2.60 in
  • Foldable prongs, so it does not chew up a bag lining on a road trip
  • Listed for MacBook Air and Pro, iPad, Dell XPS, ThinkPad, Surface Book 2, Pixel, Galaxy, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck and AirPods

What To Check

  • Load all three ports and the top USB-C drops from 65W to 40W, so the laptop charges slower with a phone and a tablet attached
  • No cable in the box, and a laptop needs a 100W-rated USB-C cable to hit full speed
  • Anker does not publish a weight or a warranty term for this model, so neither is a number you can plan around

Three chargers go in the bag and two of them come back home. This one is a top ten seller in Amazon's tablet accessories list, and it is the fix for that: 65W, three ports, and a body small enough to disappear in a side pocket.

GaN II is the reason it is that small. The chemistry runs cooler than the old silicon bricks, so the same power comes out of a housing about the size of a golf ball with the prongs folded in.

The Numbers That Matter

65W. Enough for most thin laptops at full speed. Anker rates both USB-C ports for the full 65W on their own, so you do not have to remember which port is the fast one.

40W, 12W, 12W. That is the split with all three ports loaded. A laptop still charges, just slower, while a phone and a tablet ride along. Anker printing this table at all is worth something, because most brands in this category will not.

1.50 x 1.15 x 2.60 in with folding prongs. The prongs are what keeps it from snagging a bag lining, and the footprint is what keeps it from blocking the second outlet on a hotel wall.

No subscription and no app. It runs standard USB-C Power Delivery, so it charges Apple, Android and Windows gear alike with nothing to install and no account to make.

Who It Is For

The dad packing one bag for a weekend with a laptop, a phone and a tablet in it. Pair it with the Anker 333 USB-C cable two-pack, since no cable comes in the box. If the laptop is the big kind, the Anker Prime 100W charger is the step up. At home, the Anker 351 power strip covers the desk corner and the Anker MagGo 3-in-1 station covers the nightstand. It also tops up a pair of AirPods Pro 3 on the USB-A port.

The Short Version

One 65W brick for the laptop, the phone and a kid's tablet, small enough to live in a bag instead of on the desk. This is the charger that replaces three chargers on a weekend trip, as long as you remember to pack a cable.
